With Donald Trump being a potential next president for America, it may be a very long time before we see a POTUS as dope as Barack Obama. He might’ve revealed that Obama’s favourite song of 2015 was Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much a Dollar Cost” and even picked K.Dot over J. Cole as his favourite rapper but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan of Cole.
As we’ve previously reported, J. Cole was tipped as the entertainment for Obama’s Democratic National Committee fundraiser and the President was sure to make clear his admiration for the rapper. "I love J. Cole. You know, this is the benefit of having teenage daughters. I actually keep up. I got a chance to see J. Cole's mum and grandma," Obama said. You’ll be hard pressed to find a cooler president.
In slightly more serious political moves concerning the “Apparently” rapper, at a recent Trump rally, a protester named Thomas DiMassimo tried to jump onto the stage before security pinned him to the ground and ripped his Dreamville Records T-shirt.
In an interview with CNN, the 22-year-old explained his actions. "I was thinking that I could get up on stage and take his podium away from him and take his mic away from him and send a message to all people ... that we can be strong, that we can find our strength and we can stand up against Donald Trump and against this new wave he's ushering in of truly just violent white supremacist ideas," he said.
Dreamville Records' president, Ibrahim Hamad, reached out to Thomas DiMassimo on Twitter and promising to send him new merchandise free of charge. It looks like young DiMassimo achieved his goal of getting his message out after all.

And they ripped it and I'm so salty bout it. I got it at Cole first Dollar and Dream tour when he performed in ATL. https://twitter.com/dailyrapfacts/status/708896311836286976 …
